Remember once upon a time there was Facebook and Snapchat, they were on fire and everything else was just jockeying for a position? Along came Instagram stories, Snapchat flinched and did redesign—it was not very well received. Well-known influencers like Kylie Jenner lashed out against it… and in 2018 the Snapchat numbers plummeted. Would they ever recover? Well, I give them a lot of credit, in 2019 they unveiled some cool features like baby face and gender swap—things that got people involved and an overhaul of their android platform and now their numbers are not only back but better than ever!
