One of the best ways to keep up to date with optimizing your Google Ad campaigns is to set aside time each week to use the Recommendations tab inside of your Google Ads Account. My name is Dyllon Ryan and I’m the Director of Client services here at ADvine. One of the many services that we offer to our clients, is the launch and optimization of various Google Ad campaign types. Obviously, a successful launch is extremely important to any digital campaign, but the optimization of individual campaigns is even more important due to the real-time changes in consumer behavior. Keeping up to date with optimizing your campaign can be time consuming, but it’s imperative to campaign success. One way to stay on top of your ad’s optimization is this recommendations tab found in your Google Ads Account. This section reveals an “Optimization Score” that ranges between zero and one hundred percent – with one hundred being the best possible score. This score can be calculated for your entire account, which could include multiple campaigns, or it can be used for individual campaigns. I recommend doing it on the campaign level, so that you can keep the goals of each campaign separated in your optimization. Once your score is revealed, Google will make recommendations that will assist in getting your score to 100%. Suggestions may include creating new ads, adding and removing keywords, changing your campaign bid type, adding ad extensions or even increasing your budget. It’s important to check in on your score regularly because your score could change due to consumer behavior, and even based off consumer reaction to the alterations you’ve made. If you’re interested in getting a Google Campaign off the ground, but you’re unsure of where to begin or even keep up with it – reach out to ADvine – we’d love to help. Thanks for tuning in.
